Influence of profile information on data collection accuracy
User profile information is maintained in Fitrockr and sent to the Garmin device during pairing process. The following information is influenced by the personal information provided in the Fitrockr user profile:
BMI is influenced by user profile information (height, weight, age, gender).
Energy consumption is influenced by user profile information (height, weight, age, gender).
V02Max is influenced by user profile information (height, weight, age, gender).
Distance is influenced by user profile information (height).
Heart Rate Zones can only be determined if age is maintained in the user profile. See Heart Rate Zones for details.
MET and MVPA can only be determined if user profile information (height, weight, age, gender) is maintained.
If user profile information is unknown, please fill in realistic average dummy values (e.g. birth year = 2000, height = 180 cm, weight = 80 kg) if profile is maintained by administrator or researcher.
Alternatively, Fitrockr Hub can be configured to request users to maintain their own profile information.
